Boating
enthusiasts at Uwharrie Point keep the community's
marina and the Dockmaster's House busy. Located on the
northeast shore of the Uwharrie Point Peninsula, the full service
marina features covered storage for boats of all types and sizes.
There's a dockmaster and marina staff on hand for assistance
with launching and retrieving your boat, as well as cleaning
it when you're finished.
The
convenient Ship's Store offers such boating necessities as fuel,
ice, tackle, sunblock and snacks, as well as life preservers,
vests, and a wide variety of boating accessories.
All wetslips are 25 feet in length
and can vary in width from 10 1/2 feet to 12 feet. The marina
features 100 dry storage spaces, 50 wetslips and approximately
30 fenced spaces.. There are also two restrooms and an outdoor
shower overlooking the sundeck.
Relax
on your boat, stock up on all your boating needs, or enjoy the
view from the sundeck.
