Number
5 is a classic example of a strategic par 4 where natural
wetland areas guard the right side of the sloping fairway
off the tee. Once safely in the fairway, the player
is faced with a tricky mid-iron to a green cut into the
hillside and flanked by trees on the left and a deep bunker
on the right. The player must choose the right club
and then work the ball into the green to avoid these obstacles,
and to ensure success.
